Learning Objectives

  1. Define the basic patterns of fitness training injuries.

  2. Identify best exercises for pre-hab and post-rehab both for a procedure and for basic injury recovery.

  3. Discover how to modify necessary exercises to facilitate recovery.

  4. Learn about Osteoarthritis (OA), OA statistics, how cartilage relates to OA, and signs, symptoms, and risk factors for OA.

  5. Understand contraindications for the THA and TKA post-surgery.

One of the most effective ways to maintain your health is to stay fit and active. Indeed, even when  recovering from an injury or preparing for a major joint replacement procedure, being able to stay fit is that much more important, yet can be a challenge. In this course, you will learn how to train a client through an injury as well as in preparation for a joint replacement procedure.

This will enable you to retain clients even if they have an injury that would otherwise sideline their training — which will help you to keep the income you’ve worked so hard to put in place — in a manner that’s safe and effective for everyone.
