Learning Objectives
- Define the basic patterns of fitness training injuries.
- Identify best exercises for pre-hab and post-rehab both for a procedure and for basic injury recovery.
- Discover how to modify necessary exercises to facilitate recovery.
- Learn about Osteoarthritis (OA), OA statistics, how cartilage relates to OA, and signs, symptoms, and risk factors for OA.
- Understand contraindications for the THA and TKA post-surgery.
One of the most effective ways to maintain your health is to stay fit and active. Indeed, even when recovering from an injury or preparing for a major joint replacement procedure, being able to stay fit is that much more important, yet can be a challenge. In this course, you will learn how to train a client through an injury as well as in preparation for a joint replacement procedure.
This will enable you to retain clients even if they have an injury that would otherwise sideline their training — which will help you to keep the income you’ve worked so hard to put in place — in a manner that’s safe and effective for everyone.
